Dolan & Holt Consultancy Ltd was established in 1999 to meet a specific need in the health service at that time.
Initially much of this work was process redesign based on our experience and knowledge of healthcare. It was very apparent however, that process alone cannot fix problems as internal organisational culture frequently gets in the way of genuine progress. One of our strengths lies in assessing and challenging cultural behaviour and supporting an organisation to identify its internal champions in order to move forward. We have a proven track record of implementing sustainable changes in a variety of organisations. Implementing change is relatively easy, sustaining change requires a lot more work and in the end often relies on effective leadership from within the organisation.
As a result Dolan & Holt Consultancy Ltd, established “Leading From Within” with a specific focus on developing leadership skills at all levels across an organisation. Many of the skills needed for effective leadership are the same skills needed for effective living. There is an increasing demand for personal growth programmes which create time and space to help individuals maximise their potential. Based on our extensive experience in change and growth, we offer a comprehensive range of activities to enhance professional and personal development.

Nicola joined Dolan & Holt Consultancy Ltd when Leading From Within was first established. She is involved in all aspects of course development and delivery. Nicola is an effective lecturer with the ability to challenge, motivate and inspire others to maximise personal growth.
Nicola is keen to promote a work / life balance with clients. Nicola believes Leading From Within holds the key to unlocking that potential and enjoys working with individuals and groups through various leadership and personal growth programmes.
Nicola has a professional background in law and runs a variety of workshops based around self awareness, conflict, legal principles and diversity. She draws on her experience of international business and living abroad and has more recently trained in education, as well as Basic Skills Tutoring.
